19 year-old Brit, Tom Brennan, is set to make his debut in the British Premiership for the 2021 season with the Bikeright Belle Vue Aces at the National Speedway Stadium as part of the rising star scheme.

Although Brennan has previously made appearances in the highest league in Britain with the Swindon Robins in 2018, the Aces have bagged Tom to be a part of their 1-7 on a permanent basis. The Wiltshire-born rider will be Belle Vue's reserve at number 7 and was chosen by the Manchester management to be the compulsory Under-24 Brit as the "Rising Star" team member. The team were set to field World U21 Champion, Jaimon Lidsey, and former Grand Prix winner, Peter Kildemand, in their pursuit for 2020 but as that was postponed and rolled onto the 2021 season, the duo will not be seen in this years team, allowing Tom to make his way onto the Top League scene.

"Joining Belle Vue is a huge step for me in my career and I couldn't wish to join a more professional club. I believe everybody there are there to help me and are interested in me reaching my goals as much as I want to help them reach theirs, which is a crucial factor when joining a team.  It's a huge change in terms of track size compared to what I've been brought up on but I'm really excited to step out my comfort zone and start racing and face bigger challenges than I have before. It's no secret that to be competitive internationally you need to be dialled in on the bigger tracks and believe there is no place better in the UK to be able to do this other than Belle Vue. Mark Lemon and Adrian Smith are one of the most professional management and promoter duos in British Speedway and this is only going to help me become more professional in my career with the advice that they can give me. I look forward to putting on that Red and White suit in May and meeting all the Belle Vue fans up in Manchester and hope to entertain them and get them on their feet as much as I can in the coming season. Once again I'd like to thank both Mark, Adrian and everybody behind the scenes at Belle Vue for this incredible opportunity and my sponsors who are behind me for this season. See you on track in May!

See Tom and the rest of the Bikeright Belle Vue Aces on track for the first time in 2021 at the National Speedway Stadium vs King's Lynn Stars on May 3rd at 12pm.
